DirectAdmin access

Your hosting is managed through the DirectAdmin control panel. Accounts that were previously on cPanel have been migrated, and anyone migrated received an e-mail with the new access details.

Panel address

The panel is at:

https://da-sun.sites.co:2222

Note the :2222 at the end. Without the port number your browser will not reach the panel.

Where to find your username and password

The credentials are sent by e-mail when the account is created, in the welcome message for the service.

If you no longer have that e-mail, the details are also in the Client Area:

  1. Log in to the Client Area.
  2. Open Services and select your hosting package.
  3. The panel login details are shown on the service page.

If you still cannot get in, open a ticket and we will reset the password for you.

Logging in

  1. Open https://da-sun.sites.co:2222 in your browser.
  2. Enter the username and password for the hosting account.
  3. Click Login.

The panel opens on a summary screen showing disk usage, bandwidth and shortcuts to the most used features.

Changing the panel language

DirectAdmin is set to English by default. To change it:

  1. Click your username in the top right corner.
  2. Choose Language.
  3. Select the language you want.

The choice is saved to your account and applies to later logins.

What you will find in the panel

E-mail Manager Forwarders, autoresponders and mail settings
Files File Manager, for uploading and editing your website files

Common questions

The page will not load. Check that :2222 is part of the address. Some corporate networks and a few providers block ports other than 80 and 443 — if so, try from another connection, such as a phone hotspot.

Invalid username or password. The panel password is not the same as your Client Area password, and not the same as your e-mail password. They are separate credentials.

I used to have cPanel. Your account has been migrated to DirectAdmin. The username is unchanged; the password was included in the migration e-mail. If you cannot find it, change the password from the Client Area — see Changing your hosting password.
